Design for Good

As a Sustainable Graphic Designer, one of my most passionate missions is giving back to the community and ethically driven businesses. I offer a percentage of my time volunteering my professional design services to businesses and organizations in need.

Below are a few recent projects I have created under my “Design for Good” mission.

Helping Hands for India

Client: Helping Hands for India
Industry: Charitable School, Rishikesh India
Impact: Eco-friendly school, Empowering girls, Promoting education and supporting a not for profit organisation
Graphic Design: Nancy Jackson

Helping Hands for India is a charitable organisation, managed by a dedicated team of volunteers, who are committed to providing equal educational opportunities for boys and girls and to promote wellbeing to children in India.

I am so passionate about this organisation. In February 2011, I attended a month long Yoga Teacher Training course in Rishikesh India with Akhanda Yoga Family @akhanda_yoga taught by Yogrishi Vishvketu who is also the mastermind behind this amazing charity school.

At that time the building plans were just beginning next door to the ashram and none of the girls in the village where attending school. Today 80% of the girls in the village are attending school at Sansar Gyaan Pathshala, which means ‘World Knowledge Lessons’. Almost 300 children, from Kindergarten to grade 6, attend every day.

I can’t express how grateful I am to be able to support this organisation.
