I only played around with the beta version but, I did learn a few things from this experience.
Firstly, although it is not your average chatbot, it is still a robot. The quality of its output is directly related to the quality of its input. A human is still needed to ask relevant questions and decipher the copy with a strategic mind. So, rest assured, the profession of marketing is not dead. Yet.
Secondly, in my experience, Chat GPT does not have a sense of humour. When I asked it to write playful, funny or friendly copy, it output content that was as dry as any other copy prompts.
And lastly, Chat GPT can only gather information that is already existing and cannot predict the future. So if you are an innovative, trend setting brand, there may be limitations to how much this tool can help you.
